Rufous Scrub-bird – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Rufous Scrub-bird (Atrichornis rufescens) is a bird species in the family Atrichornithidae. It is endemic to Australia. Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests. It is threatened by habitat loss. By the mid-20th century, it was almost extinct, but it has since recovered to the point where it was not considered threatened anymore.
