The ʻŌmaÊ»o (‘ Myadestes obscurus’, also called the Hawaiian Thrush) is a endemic species of robin-like bird that is only found on the island of Hawaii. It was discovered in 1789 by Gmelin. This thrush is closely related to the other endemic thrushes of other Hawaiian Islands, the Kamao, the Olomao, and the Puaiohi.
