Lake Lufira Weaver – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Lake Lufira Weaver or Ruwet’s Masked Weaver (Ploceus ruweti) is a species of bird in the weaver family, Ploceidae. It is endemic to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitat is swamps in the south-east of the country. It is sometimes regarded as a subspecies of the Tanzania Masked Weaver (P. reichardi).

The Tanzania Masked-weaver or Tanganyika Masked-weaver (Ploceus reichardi) is a species of bird in the weaver family, Ploceidae. It is found in and around swamps in south-west Tanzania and north-east Zambia. The Lake Lufira Weaver (P. ruweti) of the Democratic Republic of Congo is sometimes treated as a subspecies of this bird.
